| Falcon Sportsmen are dedicated to the concept that the family is
fundamental to the success of all of our endeavors. To that end, all of
our events are meant to be enjoyed as family events. This page will
feature, those events planned in the future, those events in the past,
and will serve as your forum for suggestions to institute change or
additions. Remember, it's your club. We are just the care-takers until
your children take over

Fish and Game Prize Party - March |
| This is a banquet honoring members weighing in largest fish and game
during the past year. Awards are also given to Sportsman of the
Year and Member of the Year. It is a fun time for all at a time
when cabin fever is at it's highest. If you have any questions,

Children's Fish Derby - June |

| This has been an annual event for more than 50 years, and is
open to all children age 14 and under, with prizes, games and

Barbeque/50 Bird Shoot - August |
| This year we are having a 50
bird shoot, with a BBQ open to the public. View our

Annual Golf
Tournament September |
|
The Falcon Sportsmen Club is
having an annual 18 hole Captain and Crew golf tournament, open to the public,
at Millstone Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 6th. There will be a
shotgun start at 8:30 AM.
Teams will consist
of 4 persons, which can include both men and women. The teams
will be paired by lottery. No team will be allowed to score it’s
own card. There will be a LIMIT of 32 teams. The cost of this
event will be $250.00 per TEAM, and will include skins game.
This fee is due on or before August 15th. This fee
will include the following:
1. Hot dogs or
hamburgers and beverage on the course.
2. Prizes for
Longest Drive closest to line and Closest to the Pin (holes 6 &
16).
3. Cash prize
awarded at dinner.
4. Door Prizes.
5. 50/50 Drawing.
6. Steak/Chicken
Dinner at Falcon Sportsmen Club following the tournament. A
guest may be invited to attend the dinner only for an added cost
of $12.00 for Steak or $9.00 for Chicken.

Pheasant Program - Spring to Fall |
| Day old chicks are received from the DEC hatchery in the spring
and carefully raised till fall when they are released into the
wild. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please contact the
Club.

| Youth
Pheasant Hunt - Fall |
|
| After safety
instruction, youth ages 12-16 may participate in an
adult supervised pheasant hunt.
|

Turkey Shoot - October |
| This event dates back to the 1950's and includes a slug shoot,
pond shoot, and various games of trap shooting. Winners
receive a turkey. Food, beverages and fun are available
for all who attend. If you have any questions,
concerns or suggestions, please contact

Course 2008 Hunter safety courses at Falcons:
Sept. 9, 11, 13
6:00 pm to 9:30 pm on Tues & Thurs.
9:00 am to 1:00pm on Saturday
Sign up on August 17th from 2-4 at the clubhouse on Tnpk. Rd.
November 4, 6, 8
6:00 pm to 9:30 on Tues & Thurs.
9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday
Sign up on October 19th at the annual Turkey Shoot from 2-3 at
the clubhouse on Turnpike. Rd.
ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN-UPS BY PHONE, all three sessions required.
Class size limited to thirty five students.
