Reports of Officers and committees:

Harvard reports the website is going well.

Wayne reports on the duck and goose open hunting seasons this year.

Don W. reports on the trap team. Monday nights are open for practice, Tuesday mornings have the sunrise league and practice. Tuesday night has the 4th week of the CNY league and Wednesday nights are the tri county league.  We are currently in 4th place in the CNY league. We have 151 shooters so far in the Wednesday night league. And there are still 2 weeks to sign up. Don also wants to order hats for the trap team and asked if we need to order more directors hats. Tina P. motions to buy 24 more directors hats, and Joe K. seconds. All vote in favor.

Reports of Special Committees:

Joe K. reports on the golf tournament and format as well as more information in regards to the tournament. He also mentions the possibility of a hole in one tournament next year.

Lorenzo reports that the BBQ shelter is in progress, and that we are also in progress on the west wall also.  He asks for lumber donations as well as roofing sheets, rebar, and LABOR.

He also reminded the meeting that the pistol range is for pistols ONLY and that there was to be NO shotguns or rifles allowed on the pistol range!

Old Business:

Dottie asked about the TV, it is still in the works to be replaced. The Newsletter is in progress. We got a new backblade for the tractor. Also she spoke on the dinner at the rusty rail for the NYSCC hall of fame induction ceremonies. There were 7 directors present and close to 20 individuals there in honor of Tim Noga.

John G. reports that the Saturday trap practice is now over, due to lack of interest.

New Business:

Dottie reports that the pheasants will be arriving soon, in May and that before they arrive we will need to get the pheasant house cleaned up and anyone that wishes to help, it would be appreciated. She also spoke to the membership about the help for the fish derby. We will need helpers for the fish derby and we want to have helpers signed up in 2 hour increments so no one is stuck in one job all day. We also want some relief helpers to help relieve those for breaks during the day. We will also need a cleanup crew to help cleanup after the day is over, as most of the people working all day will be very tired to have to clean up afterwards.  She stated that a form will be passed around during the directors meeting, and if not enough people sign up, then jobs will be delegated. As always member help is welcome and appreciated.

Joe Siracusa presented the club a check for $25.00 towards the scholarship fund in honor of Bill Donofrio who passed away recently.

Mike U. went to Louisiana on vacation and was told by his guide that “Amber Romance” from Victoria Secrets will work better as a bug repellent than “off” or any of those similar chemicals.
